Purpose and Values
Who we are.
Vision
To empower 1 million people in the developing world to lead healthy and sustainable lives by training them to grow nutritious and income-generating whole foods.
Mission
Thrive is spreading a naturally contagious model for growing health, organically. We train and equip communities to create Life Gardens, so they can step out of poverty and teach others to do the same.
Values
Our Ethos and Culture
Simply put, we hate poverty. We combine our passion for change with a willingness to disrupt the status quo as we strive to see poverty eradicated in our lifetime.
Innovators
We are creators, leaders, and self-starters. We try new things, continuously learn, challenge convention, and we’re not afraid to fail.
Impact
We are World Changers who hate poverty and will never settle. Everyone should have the opportunity to thrive. Together, we all can join the movement that eradicates poverty.
Empowerment
We are the catalyst that starts the movement, but through empowerment, long-lasting change occurs. Thrive’s leadership development, training, and support equip leaders to become self-reliant, changing their own lives and transforming communities.
Holistic Health
We garden for life, not just a living. Everything we do centers on building a symphony of health, naturally.
Collaboration
We’re committed to partnering with others to end poverty. We can’t do this alone.
Integrity
We are genuine to our brand, purpose and values. We’re not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. We are always transparent and do the right thing – even when no one is looking.
Motivation
We Serve All People. Regardless…
Thrive for Good is motivated by Jesus Christ’s call to love and serve the poor. We serve all people regardless of race, faith, ethnicity or gender.
Thrive for Good was established to bring nutrition, health, economic security and hope to the poor through nutritious food and training.
From time to time, people ask us why we care so much about helping transform lives. At these times, we share our motivation and desire—to emulate the Good Samaritan, whose compassion crossed ethnic groups and religions. We operate under this spirit of inclusion in everything we do.
