This year I have decided to hike all 900 kilometers of the Bruce Trail.
15 years ago Linda and I founded Thrive for Good.
I want to celebrate the thousands of lives that have been transformed through nutritious Life Gardens and raise awareness and funds for the work that still needs to be done in the coming years as world hunger continues to rise.
I will be hiking 2 consecutive days per week for 15 weeks. Each day I will hike 30 kilometers, clocking in approximately 36,000 steps.
This will take me at least 8 hours a day of walking and hiking to complete.
My adventure will start near Niagara Falls and end in Owen Sound.
I wouldn’t be able to accomplish this without the love and support of my wonderful wife, Linda. She will be driving and supporting me along the way.
I’ve already completed more than 20 days of hiking! Here’s a new, short video:
This is bringing me back to my roots as a kid. I always loved going for hikes in the bush and spending time with myself.
I’d love for you to be part of this journey too, even if it’s from afar. Your thoughts and encouragement mean a lot. This hike isn’t just about me – it’s about all of us coming together to support Thrive for Good’s work.
I’m not done yet, though. I’m determined to finish the hike in September. Let’s keep spreading the word and making a positive impact on the lives of those we’re helping through Thrive for Good.

Your involvement, even if it’s just sharing our story, can make a real difference.
