Africa is a continent that is continuously challenged by hardships – lack of food security, common and drug-resistant tropical diseases and now western diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. These are creating a deadly convergence resulting in premature death of adults and increasing the number of orphans in developing countries, especially in Africa. We are striving to create an opposite convergence of organic gardening, disease-preventing nutrition, disease-fighting natural medicine and income generation. Creating extra income helps caregivers buy food that they can’t grow themselves.
Great strides towards a better understanding in all four areas has been made in the past few decades. The United Nations has been validating this solution as the best option for the poorest countries in extensive reports.
